The Propel+Thrive™ Certification is a 2.5-day immersive certification and retreat for leaders at the forefront of inclusion and organizational change.

You’ll join a carefully curated cohort of 12 leaders committed to mastering facilitation, accelerating inclusive change, and sustaining their own leadership energy.

Participants earn certification through live practice and DEMO Day, gain licensed access to the Propel+Thrive methodology, and join a lifelong global community of Propellers driving measurable, lasting impact.

 
 

Program Overview

The Propel+Thrive Certicification is 2.5 day immersive train-the-trainer and retreat for leaders at the forefront of inclusion and organizational change. The program equips leaders to teach, embed and scale the inclusion and change work.

Will be able to facilitate inclusive conversations and learning experiences that move leaders from awareness to action, even in complex or resistant environments.

Will be able to apply the Propel+Thrive methodology and tools to design, deliver, and scale inclusion and change initiatives with consistency and credibility.


Will be able to leverage AI responsibly to support inclusion and change work, using ethical guardrails to enhance judgment, preparation, and impact without compromising trust.


Will have sustained Support & Community through ongoing access to refreshed research, renewal guidelines, peer learning, and the network of Propellers.



Licensed to Lead

Authorized facilitation and use of the Propel+Thrive curriculum, tools, and methodology.

Dr. Sandra Upton


As Founder and Chief Inclusion and Change Mananagement Strategist with Upton Consulting Group (UCG), Dr. Upton brings 25+ years of DEI/EDI and cultural intelligence experience consulting, coaching and training with businesses, educational institutions, governmental agencies and non-profits to this work. She is the author of the book, Make It Last: A Roadmap and Practical Strategies for How to Do DEI Work. Prior to launching UCG, Dr. Upton was Vice President, Global Diversity Practice with the Cultural Intelligence Center and was responsible for providing strategic leadership and expertise on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI/EDI) matters for hundreds of clients across the globe. She led organization’s response to the growing demand from global and Fortune 500 companies to Ivy-League universities.

She is a frequent speaker and consults with numerous businesses and institutions on how to effectively integrate inclusion and change management strategies into business and educational settings. As a well-known subject matter expert, she has written numerous blogs and has been featured in Forbes magazine and several other articles and podcasts. She travels frequently and has consulted with organizations, educational institutions and schools and facilitated keynotes and trainings across the US and in numerous countries around the world. such as Brazil, China, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Israel, Singapore, South Africa and several countries throughout Europe.

She and her husband Robert are the proud parents of two adult children, Alexis and Devin.
